About the Office

The College of Social Science and Humanities Educational Quality Assurance Coordination Office is one of the coordinating offices within the Social Sciences and Humanities College of Woldia University. The role of the Educational Quality Assurance Coordination Office is to ensure the quality and standards of educational programs, processes, and outcomes within the institution. This office oversees activities related to monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of academic and administrative processes within the College.

 

Main Responsibilities of the Office

  • Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures for the College. Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to align quality assurance activities with the College’s goals.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of academic programs, teaching, and learning practices within the College.
  • Oversee the development of frameworks and guidelines for curriculum design, assessment, and evaluation processes.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits to assess the institution’s compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to academic issues for accreditation bodies and stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the College.
